Daniel Yap, a graduate from ALMA the School of Italian Cuisine, started Pop Up Dining KL back in March 2015 with partners Miki Lie & Amanda Huang, who shared the same goal - which is to create an unique dining experience to the diners by presenting their beautifully plated yet interestingly flavoured dishes. Every meal is meticulously crafted with story-liked planned, customized menu. When creating a story-like menu like this, inspiration often comes from the people surrounding him, lifestyle, art, even the nature (his petite garden) and of course some great chefs over the world.
During his stay in Italy, Daniel staged at few Michelin rated restaurants, which include Piccolo Lago in Italy and the recent one, The Studio in Denmark. He also worked in a neighbourhood restaurant in Malaysia, Table & Apron as a line cook and pastry chef.
